Who Runs Section6?

The People of Section 6

kz

Kris Zentner, That's me. Many of the tutorials here are mine. I'm also responsible for about everything else on section6 including the network, software, etc. I've designed the current theme on here which isn't too bad for a full time linux sysadmin that does very little with graphics. Section6 has been my pet project for the last 5 years or so. I'm abbreviated as kz throughout the rest of the site.

Danimal

Danimal is a corporate schill who is extremely sad with the incompetence of his middle management but enjoys his corporate paycheck and is too weak willed to get another job til his student loans are paid off. He is currently coding applications in the mozilla framework and loves standards and web programming.

Hardware Section6 is colocated by the fine folks at seaccp.org. The current server rendition's name is heimdall. I've taken up a norse god theme with my current run of servers and workstations. It's running off a Supermicro 5013C-T with a P4 and a gig of ram with dual 80GB SATA drives running RAID 1.

wiki login?

There's some great info on your wiki! I'd like to contribute, but I don't see any way to create an account. Are you accepting outside help?

brokeness

Hey guys, I thought I'd leave you a comment as there seems to be no other obvious way to contact you. The support forum link from the wiki is broken. I wanted to make a small correction to the freebsd jail setup page in the wiki but editing it restricted to logged-in users and no link to create a new account seems to be present. Anyway, thanks for the help setting up a jail!

TBonius, also known as...

... the guy that copied and pasted my linux booting tutorial and claims it as his own in this site. Please remove it. That's seriously not cool. I had stopped asking you because the site seemed dead.

If this content is still up here let me know. I really don't want anyone else's content up here. This is supposed to be original work!

I've had my iBook 9 months

I've had my iBook 9 months and it still doesn't have a name :(
