Another post to refresh my SEO

Ok just kidding. Though it's true. They say that content is king and that increases one's SEO. That said, my SEO must be in the crapper! Section6 started out as tutorials, back when I had all the time in the world. Now that there's a home to maintain, full time+ time job, and a house to maintain this blog has stagnated. The issues so far:

Many of these blog posts are likely stale
- Yes it's true. I simply don't have time to update all this documentation I've created. Some may be useful, some may be crap.

The jails wikis are way out of date
- Related to the above. The jails wiki is no longer accurate. In fact I need to upgrade my own server to the latest FreeBSD as I'm on the last version. As with all the wikis. Use at your own risk!

This blog doesn't have anything useful
- I've slowly been transitioning from intrepid sysadmin to old hack. Now that I'm learning more big picture items, I'll try to share some here.

Life isn't about sysadmining.
- It's true. I'll likely post some other things that I find out there in the world so that fortunate googlers can end up here.

At work I've been pretty

At work I've been pretty busy, and have gone through a few ad hoc capturing tools. First it was the steno notebook. Followed by the hipster pda. That worked pretty well except when I forgot it or inevitably lost it, it would wreck havoc invicta watches on the rest of my day since half my brain was in there. The last time I left it at home, I decided to look for alternatives. Enter Evernote. Now the reason I had not guess watches originally gone this route was for the following reasons: * The pen and paper is cheap * No batteries required * Easier to draw things on diesel watches it. * Using pen and paper is just more of a classic way to capture things. I also had some hestation in not using Evernote including: * Information is not stored on my server (privacy rado watches issues) * Batteries *are* required * Something new to learn * Something new to spend money on (yes Evernote is free but I ended up spending money on it anyhow). I still wish I could store Evernote stuff on my server, but that aside, using Evernote over the hipster PDA has been a great success. I recently found my disassembled hipster PDA, noticing I hadn't written in it in months. I can't say I really miss it. A few additional benefits I've found with Evernote.
